OBGYN Eligibility Requirements

Interviews are by invitation only for applicants possessing the following criteria:

LCME Graduate Eligibility Criteria

Graduate from a U.S. medical school with a satisfactory medical record

A minimum of 3 letters of recommendation:

  • 1 from specialty department chair
  • 2 from faculty within the specialty

USMLE Step I and II

“Pass” on all pre-clinical courses & core clerkships; at first attempt

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or alien permanent resident

Medical school graduate preferably within 3 years of entering residency; to include valid explanation of gap or completed internship

AOA Graduate Eligibility Criteria

Graduate from a U.S. osteopathic school with a satisfactory medical record

A minimum of 3 letters of recommendation:

  • 1 from specialty department chair
  • 2 from faculty within the specialty

COMLEX USA I & II or USMLE I & II

“Pass” on all pre-clinical courses & core clerkships; at first attempt

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate visa status

Medical school graduate preferably within 3 to 5 years of entering residency; to include valid explanation of gap

International Graduate Eligibility Criteria

USMLE Step I and II

Medical school graduate preferably within 3 to 5 years of entering residency; to include valid explanation of gap

Diploma from accredited college of medicine

Current ECFMG certification

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate visa status

“Pass” on Clinical Skills Part II of USMLE

PGY-2 Eligibility Criteria

Current Curriculum Vitae and Personal Statement

A minimum of 3 letters of recommendation:

  • 1 from your program director

Medical School Diploma and Transcript

MSPE/Dean’s Letter

USMLE Transcript for Steps I, II, III

Competency-based Evaluation Summary for PGY-1 Year Mid-Year Evaluation

Current ACGME Defined Category Operative Report

Authorized to work in the U.S. both now and following training
