MountainView Hospital GME Welcome
Greetings and welcome to the new MountainView Hospital Graduate Medical
Education Department. We are delighted that you are exploring opportunities
to train with us as we launch our new residencies - beginning in 2016
with Internal Medicine and Surgery. Work has already begun to expand our
programs to Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics/Gynecology
for 2017 and beyond.
As a dynamic, state-of-the-art medical center, MountainView Hospital is
recognized for high patient satisfaction and for creating a healing environment
through attention to quality and compassionate care to our patients and
their families. Along with other national distinctions, MountainView has
achieved recognition as a certified Primary Stroke Center and an accredited
Chest Pain Center - making it a model institution for training new physicians.
Our medical staff of more than 1,200 physicians in all specialties allows
for this highest level of patient care and clinical instruction.
Applying that same commitment to excellence in our medical education venture,
we offer innovative approaches to residency training in an extraordinary,
collaborative environment to provide you with the tools, skills and experiences
to be an outstanding physician, patient advocate and leader – in
our hospital, our community and beyond. We have assembled a world-class
team of medical educators to guide our residency programs and medical
student clerkships to ensure the highest quality educational experience.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an inaugural residency team
– a chance to draw on your own creativity and experiences as we
work together in learning through caring –reflecting MountainView
Hospital’s vision of Caring, Compassion, Commitment – for
the patients we serve and for the physicians we train.
We welcome you to participate with us in the excellence of MountainView
